My coworker and I were looking perplexedly at these two books. They’re the same, and have the same ISBN. How did RazorBill get away with having two covers? I will show you.
Pretty clever. I still haven’t read it yet; it’s young adult, science fiction, and fantastic, according to my favorite readers at the University Book Store and Secret Garden Books.
In other news, I was gifted a copy of the new edition of Thinking With Type, by Ellen Lupton. Sometimes, it really pays to know people. I dorkily devoured it on the way home instead of reading the charming Keeper, by Kathi Appelt.

Booklist mentions the reversible book jacket, I discovered when I went looking for reviews. It sounds really good — and attractive, to boot!
Yeah, Suzanne, Caitlin, Lauren, Jan all LOVED it! I think I like the blueprint cover better. I’m a sucker for a spaceship, and more of a sucker for informational design.
Heya Kitri,
I just love that you are now hosting this blog! It is so fun to see all the YA covers and others to boot. I do want to clarify one thing though: I liked the book and would recommend it to a person who is drawn to scifi, but not necessarily to others. That being said (or written), I agree with you on the cover pick. I don’t usually go in for the sappy coupling photos … even with all the stars in the background.
Question for you: Do you know how I can have my own choice of image as I post things here. I am not keen on the wp selection?

Jan: I don’t know how to change your little icon. Maybe if you sign up for gravatar? WordPress made me get a gravatar for my profile on this site, so that could be how you go about it.
Also, thanks for reading, and for your comments on the book!
[...] Did we mention how much we love it when you call us? Today we catch up on three voicemails, including one from Catherine in California that talks about the intriguing reversible book jacket on Across The Universe by Beth Revis.
